Dealer not giving me money I have filed a notice .Now what should i do

My dealer paid me the last payment with cheques and got his registration done . After that when I gave cheques to bank it got bounced ,and now dealer is not giving me money .I have also sent a notice . Now should I file a fir in Delhi or Uttar Pradesh ,as I live in Delhi but registration was done in Uttar Pradesh and dealer also lives in up. What’s the best to do to get my money ?

As the cheque has been bounced the you shall send him the demand notice for the same within 30 days from the date of dishonour of the cheque, stating him to revert the money within 15days. If he does not do the same then you initiate NI proceeding against him but the jurisdiction will only he decided according to the branch of the drawer. What registration was done By the dealer. Please specify. Since your cheques got bounced you can file a complaint case under the Negotiable Instruments Act for recovery of your money. You may seek a detailed legal Consultation

if you have the bank account in delhi in which you put cheque . After the notice the dealer is not paying the amount. then you can file the case where the cheque is bounced i.e where your bank account
