Clarification regarding distribution of family property amongst member

My Father In Law Expired In 2008 Without Will, And My Mother In Law expired in 2016 also without will. Now my husband with two sisters married happily, distributed all assets equally except the house in which me and my husband with 2 yrs daughter are living. Sisters are also want their part in house also in which I m not ready but my husband is ready. What to do pls help? We are from Hindu community.

According to Hindu succession act. The daughters have equal rights to parental property. If you don't want to share the house, so you can give them money as amount of thier share.

without having will it is difficult for you to claim your right in the house. your other sisters also have equal rights in the said house also. if you wish to take this matter to court you will have to file a civil suit against your sisters asking for injunctions. Further will have to claim your rights in the house on the ground of some document or verbal inheritance from your father.

First you have to tell that who acquired the property initially. Whether it's ancestral or self acquired property of your father in law, or the property was in the name of your mother in law.
If the property is self acquired by your father in law or your mother in law or in joint names, you will have to give the share to the sisters or the money equal to their share in the property.
Legal recourse will also lead you to the same decision that your sisters in law have right over the property as per their share.
