07-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi team, We had inherited 22 acres of land from our father who expired inestate. We 3 siblings transferred our share to mothers name. she sold land in oct 2018 for 40 lakhs of which 20 lakhs were given at registration time. rest balance is not given and as per MOU between both party on a 20 rupee stamp paper amount should have been paid at the time of registraion and transfer. 1 year passed so can we cancel the sale deed. kindly suggest. thank you

hi your m o u shows that as soon as at the time of registration the rest of the amount has to be paid to you but your resting amount that is 20 lacs has not paid now you have to give him a call that I am ready to register the land even if no response from him then you have to get your 20 lac rupees immediately by way of filing suit
