26-May-2023 (In Property Law)

Hi
If it is a self acquired property of your father, then your father does not need your permission.
Self acquired properties are properties obtained by your father from his income, ancestral properties that has come in to your father vide a registered partition etc.
If your father has some undivided ancestral properties, then you can claim your share of property by filing a suit for partition

first u clarify it is ancestral property r self acquired property. if it is ancestral property you have right to file case for partition and you can ask your share. in case it is self-acquired property by your father, then he can give to any one of you. in case he sold out the ancestral property any other property belongs to your fore fathers and purchased the property on his name, then you can ask for your share by filing the case.
If your father (kartha) is the owner of the property and still alive by the virtue of his rights can give away any amount of the property to the family members with no consent according to the Hindu succession act of 1956
He could express his rights by "Gift deed" or "Will"
