Can daughter in law claim share in property if it is self acquired

Sir I am 56 years old, I had 3 sons, currently one of them has committed suicide. He had 2 children and wife, now his wife is demanding the property from us, and I have all property on my name and properties are not ancestrol one. Pls tell me legally can she claim the property from us in this condition?

She or your sons can not claim the property in your presence. You should file a civil suit against the her and you have right to live alone or with anyone because you are absolute owner of the property.

Hi first of all u Need to seek all the document where it is been seen that the property is been in ur name it has also to be mentioned that it has no copy of it would been seen that it is been registered and all why have they come now when they don’t have any Legal rite in the property what are they saying exactly on the case was there any kind of information which has been given to u

No legally widow daughter in law cannot claim her right on the self acquired properties of in laws. However, we would advise you further in a face to face meeting. You may please come and brief us properly.
