20-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother and aunt jointly inherits ancestral property and construction of flat are yet to get started. Meanwhile my aunt wants to buy some land in her village. How we can go legally so that I can lend her money now for buying land and later she can transfer her portion to me once construction done. Is there any agreement can be done legally

since this is an ancestral property then your aunt and her legal heirs should execute a release deed in your favour so that there arises no dispute or claims made by any of her legal heirs in future. Had this been a self acquired property then she could enter into a conditional gift deed in your favour for the said property provided she gets the consideration money from you for buying a plot of land in the village. These are two different circumstances where deeds differs.

As per the query in law rato you can ask you aunt to do a gift deed for her portion into your mother name and then your mother can become a sole owner of the property then there will be no legal confusion in the future will arise.
