If the property is in the name of grand father and is part of ancestral property, even his son much less his grand son has no right to sell the property. Other than grand father one can sell the property only when the property is divided among it's share holders

If you belong toHindu Mitakshra Family, you have got a share in your grand father's property by birth. And hence you can sell your share without of consent anybody. It is also necessary that you have attained majority.

From your query it is not clear whether your grand father is alive or not. Anyway, the grand son is legally not entitled to sell the property which stands in the name of grand father and the purchaser of such property cannot claim any right title and interest over such property on the basis of such sale deed.
