Husband sent talaqnama. muslim marriage.

19-Feb-2023 (In Muslim Law Law)
Husband sent talaqnama with false allegations and mentioned the marriage is considered terminated. I don't want to let him do that to me. He says I earn a good amount and he cannot provide any alimony. We've a girl child who's 3 years old. He has not given any penny so far for her though I'm not behind his money. He challenges he'll get remarried in a month of time, says husband can remarry upto 4 wives with the help of muslim marriage law. My marriage is registered under special marriage act after muslim marriage act. Can I use special marriage act to defend? Which one has validity?

Now a Muslim can't give or send talaq at a time...If he sends triple talaq by post or letter,it is an evidence to register criminal case against him... Besides, if you come to know that he is going to get married second time without your consent, it is also an offence for which you can register another criminal case... Even now, you have the right to lodge a complaint before police station for the offence of dowry harassment...You can file a case before social welfare office in District collector office under domestic violence act in which you can claim maintenance, shelter, return of jewels, properties if any.. Getting married with four wives is in Muslim law..But in reality, you will be the legally wedded wife unless and until he gets divorce from you..The law will not accept other wives as legally wedded wiives till you are alive...You have the right to claim maintenance for your child by filing a maintenance case...
