False harassment complaint by girl's father

I am currently in Canada. An adult girl (18+) in India and I were talking with mutual consent. Her father does not approve and is threatening to file a harassment complaint against me. The girl has clearly stated that I did not harass her and that she was talking to me willingly. Can her father legally proceed without her complaint? Could this affect me internationally or in future immigration matters?
If she is 18+ and consented, father alone can’t sustain harassment case without her complaint. Police need her statement. False case unlikely to affect immigration unless FIR/charge-sheet filed. Keep proof of consent.

If the girl is the complainant in your case only then it will affect you internationally as Summons can be issued to you. Secondly, under what offence he lodges a complaint against you needs to be evaluated.
