Vehicle sold years back but papers not transferred it got in accident

I am the registered owner of a two wheeler which had been sold out by me on march-2014 the trasnferee does not transferred the vehicle to his name an accident had taken place on Jan-15 the at the time the vehicle was driven by a person having no Driving Licence . I have all the documentary proof that the vehicle had been sold out by me now the MACT office summoned me and demanded by I D proof to make me the party in the claim case if arrived . Pleas help me
