My driver met with an car accident leads to death of opponent

my driver with his family drive to vellore was met with an accident and got a small injuries to him and his family, but unfortunately opponents who met a accident was leads to death.
my doubt was will it be any punishment like imprisonment or penalty take place for the owner of vehicle. Requesting you to kindly give me full details about this me Sir/Mam.
2 cases will be filed for any accident if it involves casualty. 1 in motor accident claims case and 1 criminal case. In mcop if the vehicle is properly insured and documents maintained properly, the compensation will be paid by the insurance company else you are liable to pay the compensation. In the criminal case there will be a proper hearing will be conducted in criminal court and probably will not be convicted unless any strong evidence against the driver
