Legal action against complainant who caused accident & claiming money

Sir last day I met with an accident I was riding a bike. In front of my bike there is a car I was keeping safe distance but suddenly the car sudden breaked but I hit the back of the car me and my friend injured mobile is broken leg injury we said that we don't have any problems you can leave. But he saying he want to file a case against me and he said that or else I need gave him money my bike also damaged. I am comming from a poor family I am not able afford that it's is not my fault he sudden breaks my bike didn't abs what I can do
Whether ur vehicle had valid insurance,the driver had valid licence,and the driver was not under influence of alcohol.If the answer is yes,then u also can file a complaint before the police and file a petition before motor accident tribunal for compensation for u, and ur friend can also file for his injuries. Act ASAP.
