In a road accident case leading to death, while filing a final report by police before a magistrate, does the complainant have to provide a signed statement to magistrate?

Well, you not need to sign on the either the Final Report or Chargesheet as submitted by the Police before the concerned Magistrate, considering, there is no express law as such mentioned in any statute.
