They provided wrong medicines due to which i missed my regular medici

Hello Sir/mam, I am having health issue (fits) since 30 years and i regularly purchase medicines from Medplus pharmacy.Recently i purchased 4 strips of tablets from them , and i unknowlingly took 2 pills as my regular dose.but after that i got my fits again. ( since my regular medicine was not consumed. What can i do against the Medplus pharmacy. I want to sue them for my physical pain mental agony and stress….

First, preserve the medicine strips, bill, prescription and medical records. If wrong medicine was supplied, issue a legal notice claiming medical expenses and compensation for physical pain, mental agony and negligence, followed by a consumer complaint if unresolved

If the pharmacy supplied a different medicine from the one prescribed or regularly dispensed, and you suffered a seizure/other injury after consuming it, you may have grounds for a complaint. However, liability will depend on proving the dispensing error and its connection with the harm. Preserve the medicine strips, bill, prescription, batch/expiry details, photographs, medical records and treatment bills. Obtain a doctor’s opinion regarding the episode and promptly complain to the concerned drug-control authority. Depending on the evidence, a consumer complaint for deficiency in service/compensation and other appropriate proceedings may be considered. For examination of the medicines, prescription and medical records and to assess the appropriate legal action, you may visit our office for further legal assistance.
