I need refund from counsellor as his therapy is not working

12-Oct-2026 (In Medical Negligence Law)
I saw an ad of one of the NLP expert and counsellor for my trauma therapy. I took one discovery call, It was good and I gave him a chance. After first session, I found something not good. Not comfortable and but despite this I took 2 other session as well and I came to final conclusion that he is not right or something is fishy about him. So I am asking for refund and he said he'll refund my money after one week. What should I do now in this case.

Prima facie by the above provided information, I would suggest you to proceed with your matter before the consumer forum. Rest depends upon the content of the advertisement and the service they promised to you, and other relevant facts such why after attending 3 sessions you found it fishy ?

yes we could definitely ask him for refund as this comes under the consumer forum act as you are the consumer and he is the one providing the services and we could serve him a notice asking for the complete refund along with the mental torture you have to go through
