Medical Negligence During a Smile Surgery resulted in Epithelial Defec

I had a Smile Surgery ( for removing specs) on 7th March. The hospital conducted 10 tests prior to surgery. nBut during the surgery Epithelial layer of both my eyes fell off. They did reattach the layers. nThe doctors are saying there's no way of knowing that this would happen in the surgery and happens to 1 in thousands. I have my doubts because later they asked me if I am on any medication by a dermatologist (which I am) . I feel they didn't considered this prior to the surgery and if nothing came up in the tests what were the use for them. nI still haven't been able to see clearly even almost after a month

negligance as they have done mo of test begore sugery and in tht condition they are not able to understand the issues and when tge surgery got insucessfull they are blaming a medicine om an idea this is matter of gross negligance they need to be punished and pinalised for sure.

They were aware of the complications that may occur but failed to take proper steps.
As you mentioned they didn't inform you about the risks involved. As a standard procedure, they must have made you sign a few documents to shield them from legal liability.
In medical negligence cases, you shall approach the consumer court for damages// compensation.
Loss of vision due to the negligence of Doctors are more common than one may imagine. You may not hold them criminally liable but you must seek compensation for the loss of income // mental agony you suffered.
