Hospitalisation bill with breakup

Hii I gave gone through medical termination of pregnancy and my current insurance policy is covering the expenses however hospital is denying to give us payment receipt with breakup and signature on claim form and other documents. Can hospital do that

Hi, No, the hospital cannot deny receipts with breakup and/ or signatures on claim forms. You can write to the hospital your reason for wanting the breakup, if they deny, send them a legal notice. After that you can still file a complaint before the consumer forum

Well, Hospital cannot do that. You can file a Case against Hospital before the concerned Consumer forum! You can also file a case against Hospital in the concerned City Civil Court or High Court to handover the payment receipt to you with byefercation!

ma'am/sir if they are not giving you detailed bill you can file a complaint against them with medical council. for example if you are from Maharashtra then you just google file a complaint against a hospital in Maharashtra it will show the result for state medical council website there you can file a complaint. but it's all about time. if you need it on immediate basis then you can request them because sending a legal notice is an option but it takes time and to that notice they can also send just a formal reply after that you will have to file a case in court or consumer forum. so best thing to do in this situation is ask a ward boy or staff to provide you with the bill they might arrange it for you. and second option is to file a complaint on state medical council website.
