Notice to vacate by owner without any tenant default

06-May-2026 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Hello, I recently registered L& L agreement with owner for a period of 24 months. Agreement has lock in period clause of 3mnths ( this was missing in draft agreement shared with me). Owner had verbally informed that earlier he had put up house for sale but now will not ask me to vacate in near future. However it appears back door he continued his negotiation now expect me to vacate. What is the protection to tenant under maha law ? Can he ask w/o any default frm my side in such short time ?

A registered leave & license agreement binds both parties. Owner cannot forcibly evict you without following agreement terms and due legal process, unless there is breach/default from your side as per the concerned provisions of law.
