Deduction of money from security amount?

Within 2 month i am going to leave this house n wen i talkd about the security deposit. landlord told he will deduct 15000 from deposit money. Bt as per my knowledge he cn deduct 1 month rent. But here he is cutting 2month rent.is there any rule? Or landowner can deduct any amount he want?? Pleasee reply?

no, the landlord cannot deduct any amount. there is no such rule which says that the landlord will deduct a certain amount of money. there would be an agreement between the you and your landlord which must be having a clause for refund of court fees and in case you vacate the premises early what would be the deduction amount in it. kindly go through the Agreement and check the clause. if there is no agreement between the two then you need to have a mutual understanding on the refund to avoid any dispute.
