Can I get a affidavit to rent a flat to stay with my future wife

Hi Lawyer, I am working in Mumbai and looking for a place to live in with my partner. Is there any way to get Engagement Affidavit so we can present to the owner to find an apartment ? We are planning to marry next year. We are engaged and our family is aware about it. We belong to Hindu community. Kindly help me with the procedure to go about it.
You can give the landlord a proof of your engagement and that you wish to stay with her after one year once you are married. An affidavit will not hold any legality for that.
