After the death of main landlord. Legal to enter name of sister's son?

we are staying in chawl, our total area of chawl is 3 guntha. The main landlord was dead when his son was 3 year old. the Landlord sisters son and doughter and their childrens name was entered in 7/12 . is this legal ?

The property you are referring to must necessarily be inherited by the son. However that would only happen if the property was self acquired. If the property is ancestral in nature then the deceased persons sister will have a share as well.

Though even in such a situation, the son will have a share in the property. The guardian of the boy can represent any of his wards claims over the property. If you are worried about the future of the boy, you may approach the courts to be appointed as a guardian.

Thereafter you may persue the property matter in his name.
