Regarding charector verification in government jobs

I would like to know whether a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) alone, without any FIR, charge sheet, arrest, or pending court case, needs to be disclosed while applying for government jobs. Can the existence of an NCR by itself affect government employment, police verification, background checks, or future career opportunities? I would appreciate legal guidance on this matter.

An NCR alone, without FIR, charge sheet or pending case, generally does not affect government employment. Disclose only what the application specifically asks and answer truthfully as per the concerned provisions of law.
