I want to change status from absonding to relieved on relieving letter

I worked with an MNC company in Pune for 11 months during covid which was work from home. I did 1 day resignation and couldnt serve the notice period due to immediate joining with a different company. As per the employment terms, I cannot buy out notice period and have to serve notice period. I got a relieving letter with an incorrect last working day, stating I have absconded from the company. I had sent an email to the HR for resignation and have submitted all the company assets. Pls advise.
Well, try to resolve your issues with HR of your Ex-Employer mutually. If HR is giving you lame excuses for not resolving your issues, then we have to serve him a Legal Notice under the concerned provisions of Employment Laws applicable in India.
