gratuity limit not enhanced by the private university

My employer is a university and financially well off. However gratuity limit is still 10 lacs and no announcement has been made to hike it to 20 lacs and recent retired staff has received max. of 10 lacs only. What can the person do if he received 9 lacs lesser. Thank you
The gratuity limit was increased from 10 Lakh to 20 Lakh through Payment of Gratuit(Amendment) Act 2018. Thus, all employees who retired or resign on or after 29 March 2018 are entitled for the increased gratuity.
