Do i have to serve bond period as well as notice period
06-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have signed a 2 year contract bond which completes on 16th may 2022. My company has a 1 month notice period. So when I applied my resignation on 16th April 2022, they are asking me to work till 16th May and then serve a 1 month resignation otherwise they wont be sending relieving letter which I think it is not fair. Isn't it illegal? Can I book a case against them?
the company has no right to stop you relieving letter and join the another company define opportunity given to me I am ready to defend you one month notice can be given bye district and also by email D Company

Under Section 27 of the Indian Contract, 1872 it is void except in some cases that are:
- signed both employer and employee with reasonable conditions.
- signed by both with their free consent.
- employer may compel to continue if he suspects of disclosing trade secrets to others.
