Can employee get compensation in case terminated on minor reasons

Hi, what an female employee can do if she have been terminated by employer by what's app message and asked not to come to office from tomorrow giving some minor reasons. Can employee get compensation for this if appointment letter is not shared with employee. The actual reason of termination is that employer does not want to give maternity benefit to female employee.

With reference to the above statement, in today's time most of employers are doing this type of activities, they do not want to pay for the maternity and they terminate the employee, don't worry I will give the full compensation of maternity benefits
