Procedure to recover dues from International vendors

I am proprietor exporting boiled cocoons from Ramanagaram, Karnataka. I had exported this to ABC Textiles Vietnam in the month of October 2016. The export was made on trust basis. I had exported this item to ABC Textiles earlier also and they had made payment promptly by transferring to my account in a month or two. Now, in my last export worth US&71500, the party downloaded the goods. I waited for payment for several months. I had followed up several times. Nothing happened. I personally went there to their factory at Vietnam. The owner chased me out of the factory gate by making his dogs to run after me. I do not know what to do as I do not have any agreements and the transaction was made based on the party’s mail confirmation, like in earlier occasions.
Please advise me how to recover the dues.
You are not the only party who has become a victim in such international transactions. Agreed, trust should be there between the parties. But, without knowing the party, without background check up, one should not believe the party and transact. Anyway, you have to initiate legal action against the party. You can do this either here in India or there at Vietnam for recovery of dues subject to you establishing proof of import of goods by ABC Textiles. You can even complain to our government to support you in this matter.
