Query regarding changing current Lawyer for MACT case?

If I change my lawyer, can current lawyer mess up the case? Like, withdraw the case file, then I have to start from scratch again? My current lawyer is very disgraceful and have extorted heavy money from my parents, I have now stepped in to see their case and looking for good answer (and probably a lawyer with a soul).

on the above mentioned query the opinion is that if your advocate is not persueing the present case seriously then you can proceed with the other lawyer. without the presence of complaint or claiment the court could not withdraw the case on the application of advocate.
