Demanding a claim for the repair of my property

There is a line of sewer drainage that goes in front of house and my main gate is just a few steps away from it .For mobility convenience I built a slope over that drainage line and it finishes on main road. A police vehicle of my Local Thana mistakenly ran over that to turn his vehicle thinking that it was strong enough but part of that slope got destroyed. Now I have to fix that part for my own convenience. Is there any way I can demand claim from police department since it was their fault .
