Provided the person doing the act did not of his own accord, or from a reasonable apprehension of harm to himself short of instant death, place himself in the situation by which he became subject to such constraint.
IPC 94 in Simple Words
In simple words, Section 94 of the Indian Penal Code states that certain actions are not considered offenses if they are done under the compulsion of threats that reasonably cause the fear of instant death, provided the person did not voluntarily place themselves in that situation.
