Don't worry. as you mentioned facts you're mother is not involved in any kind of business. in these situations she denied any kind of cheque was issued by him so she is not responsible for pay particular cheque. main facts are depends on legal notice which was serving you by opposite advocate.

IPC की धारा 94 के अनुसार, हत्या और मृत्यु से दंडनीय (punishable with murder and death) उन अपराधों को जो राज्य के विरुद्ध (Against the state) है, छोड़कर कोई बात अपराध (Offence) नहीं है, जो ऐसे व्यक्ति द्वारा की जाए जो उसे करने के लिए ऐसी धमकियों (Threats) से विवश होकर (being forced) किया गया हो जिनसे उस बात को करते समय उसको युक्तियुक्त रूप (Reasonable form) से यह आशंका कारित (cause of apprehension) हो गई हो कि अन्यथा परिणाम (Result) यह होगा कि उस व्यक्ति की तत्काल मृत्यु हो जाए, परन्तु यह तब जबकि उस कार्य को करने वाले व्यक्ति ने अपनी ही इच्छा से या तत्काल मृत्यु से कम अपनी अपहानि की युक्तियुक्त आशंका (Reasonable apprehension of harm) से अपने को उस स्थिति में न डाला हो, जिसमें कि वह ऐसी मजबूरी के अधीन (Under compulsion) पड़ गया है.
