Bounce of my mother cheque forcefully given by my father

My father was doing some business and gave signed cheque of my mother to the other party. He forced my mother to sign the cheque. My father has expired and now the other person is giving us legal and mental torture. What should we do?nMy mother was not doing business with the other party.
