Provided that such fine shall be just and reasonable to meet the medical expenses and rehabilitation of the victim;
Provided further that any fine imposed under this section shall be paid to the victim.
IPC 376D in Simple Words
According to section 376D of the Indian Penal Code, if a woman is raped by a group of people acting together, each person involved will be considered as having committed the offense of rape and can be punished with rigorous imprisonment for at least twenty years, up to imprisonment for life, along with a fine, which will be used for the victim's medical expenses and rehabilitation.
