Description of IPC Section 143

According to section 143 of Indian penal code, Whoever is a member of an unlawful assembly, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine, or with both.

If someone is part of an unlawful assembly, they can be punished with up to six months in jail, a fine, or both.
