The purnishment for the offence extendes to 3 years and fine upto 3 years . You have to contest (fight)your case through an advocate. Inorder to decrease or cancel the punishment or to lower the fine. For more information kindly contact

There was no direct evidence as against Respondents herein but from the circumstantial evidence adduced by the prosecution, it must be held to have been proved that the railway tickets were being clandestinely sold in black market and unless Respondents had abetted the main accused. If we prove in court that were not directly involved in it, then we can get out of it easily, firstly get back and then get acquitted.

one who purchases or sells or attempts to purchase or sell railway tickets with a view to carrying on any such business either by himself or by any other person, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or with both, and shall also forfeit the tickets which he so procures, supplies, purchases, sells or attempts to purchase or sell this is the minimum punishment unless you prove it otherwise that you are not induldge in any such act. for further assistance contact me
