Although the procedure for Registration is quiet easy, but i need to know the other details too i.e. whether your father's business unit/shop was registered under GST or VAT before his death? getting GST number for business is not an issue as the the same can be taken from as a service from any authorized person who can help you register the GST for business depending upon the type of the company where a any director can be authorize to take the GST number for filling of the applications

You can take the GST Registration by applying through a taxation advocate or a CA, by applying certain documents such as Pan, adhaar, pass book etc. then the process will take around a week to get the GSTIN Number.
