Wife's father verbally abused my parents

My wife physically abused me and made false allegations as if I hit her. My old parents went to her house to discuss about it. But my father in law insulted and verbally abused my mother and father. My parents are stressed a lot due to his verbal abuse in front of his neighbors. Is there any legal action that we can take against that man?
You can file domestic violence case as against your wife and her parents. It's a tricky scenario. If you have proof of physical abuse by your wife you can very well approach the court. Police complaint is also an option.
