Wife threatening to lodge a complaint, how to protect my family

We are Hindu. There was a simple quarrel between My wife (pregger 7 months) & mother. She left my house on 8.10.17 in fit & fine condition. Now she threaten to imprison my family. I want to know how I will keep safe family member out of this situation

Your wife cannot file a case against your family without justifying that you have endulged in any criminal activity as courts do not entertain frivolous applications. If she does file an FIR, challange it on the grounds of malice and malafide litigation.

immediately lodge a general diary before the local police stations for your own safety and consult a good lawyer who will guide you best, a lot of things need to be taken into account so that you can be safe

Don't be worried. Consult with a competent lawyer. Threatening in that fashion has no cause of action. Practically, imprisonment for this offence (as per your description) is quite impossible now. Anticipation of arrest is out of date for this fact.
