When can Someone ask for complaint copy from caw cell

I filed a complaint against my husband in caw cell.. no meeting is done yet.. I want to know can he get the copy of my complaint before any meeting… or he can only get the complaint after appearing for the 1st meeting

Even after he appears in the CAW cell he will not get the copy of the complaint. He can only be allowed to read it once. Then your complaint can only be converted into a FIR. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hi mam...!!!! Yes, he can get a copy of the complaint anytime after talking to the investigating officer as it's his right. As per law, IO can not refuse to give the copy of the complaint to Respondents/Accused.

Your husband can get the copy by filing RTI in this regard ! This is the only option to get the copy. Time frame to get copy depends on internal management of the department ! 15 to 30 days is the minimum time!
