Hello Firstly it wholly depends how you want to obtain the divorce. There are varied reasons on which grounds you can avail. If there is mutual consent by both parties it would be much easier. After opting the ground of divorce you need to file it before the Family Court and issue notice to your spouse. After the proceedings are over you obtain a decree of divorce. You need to satisfy the court that the marriage is broken beyond repair.

advice is always free. by the way before that you have to give some information as there is a 2 type of divorce. one is mutual consent divorce which required 6 month period. second is under sec 13 (a) when one out of you both is not ready for it.

Hi, You can file divorce petition u/s 13 of Hindu Marriage Act. You need to elaborate why you need to take divorce and under what circumstances. Generally Divorce petition is filled on the basis of Cruelty by other partner . If both the parties agree to take Divorce a joint petition can be filled by the parties. Thanks
