what to do when your father threatens u not to pay college fees after accusing that u spend all day in your mobile phone and not doing what i say ( forced labour online for the parent's firm) and abuses you physically and verbally . What must be done ? please advise. nmy phone is taken away(so i cannot attend any calls ) since i am being accused of playing video games which i do but i am a 18 yr old who just finished boards and got in a college and is waiting for it to start need advise ty.

Dear Sir, Your father might be doing such acts in your best interest. If you have crossed 18 years of age and a female candidate then you can claim maintenance from him and also approach the Police etc. If you are a boy then you have no claim over your father for your maintenance since you attained age of majority.
