What to do in case of sexual harassment by father in law?

Hi i have filed a complain about my father in law to deputy commissioner of police of sexual harrasment and abusing me and attempt to my murder.Kindly suggest me what action police will be taken to my father in law???

If any injury is there then go to civil hospital nearby and get conducted ur medical examination. If not then DSP is duty bound to direct any subordinate to lodge FIR. In case FIR is registered then ur Father in law will have to seek bail from court cpmpetent. Trial will also be conducted afterwards following imprisonment/sentence if u prove ur case.

Firstly police investigate the matter then F.I.R ill be lodged against your father in law...if police find him innocent then you can direct approached to local area magistrate and file a complaint with the help of advocate

Due to the facts of matrimonial dispute the police officer incharge of police station is to be tried to conciliation the matter and if not possible then he will inquire into the allegations in of found your version prima facie established about the commission of cognizable offence then he will register the case and start investigation.

dear questioner,police will only do their job. they will register FIR and start investigation.i guess your query is regarding the action. so, let me tell you that its not easy these days to get such FIR registered,because a huge no. of such kind of allegations always proved false. however, i don't know what is your version. but let me clear one thing to you dear questioner you have to give an immediate cause of action for filing he complain with supporting evidence.so that police may register FIR.

Police can register FIR under section 354 against your father in law . If police do not take any legal action than you can file complaint before. judicial Magistrate. Moreover u can also approach human right commission of ur area.
