Dear Sir /Madam, Kindly suggest the step to follow if the husband is not sending the monthly salary part to his wife. What she can do or what are the consequences. Religion - Hindu Thank you,
the wife needs to file a maintenance case with the detailed proof of husbands income which can be obtained from the husbands office and then the court will grant an order to the same effect and hence the husband will be bound to pay as per courts directions

It is the duty of the husband to provide maintenance to his wife. If the husband is not willing to provide the maintenance in either ways then you can approach the court under section 125 of Cr. P.c.

As per your request, my legal advice is that u can go for maintenance suit ie section 125 cr. P. E Against your husband through court, as a result, u will get a portion of share from your husband's salary and if your husband is a government service holder and not complying court order regarding payment of maintenance, in that case, court can give salary attachment order in your favor through which u will get regular maintenance from your husband easily
