what problems will come if anyone co sign on bond paper

Hi Sir/Madam, My brother has taken 10lakhs money from his motherinlaw and his wife. Their went to police station and asked my mom to put a co sign on bond paper. police also forced and told nothing happen sign on bond like that so my mom signed. My brother is a govt employee getting 12k per month( He has some issues in SR, If he writes SR completely he get 80k per month). My mom govt widow pensioner getting 31k every month We dont have any land or own house. On oct 1st 2023 bond was completed

cosign means you are alos responsible for that money and it means you too taken loan from the from opposite side and you and your son are equally responsible for that loan best thing first you approach to any advocate and he will help u
