My brother in law torturing my sister since 10 years. As he is literate he is clever that he will never lift hand on her he torches her verbally. At first we thought may b because of his work pressure or something or as he is an angry man. But he is very smart that nobody can even believe that he is the sick guy. He speaks with everyone like he is innocent. We were also thinking about him the same even he brain washed their kids and the childrens are opposing my sister. Till that we thought that it is normal but previous year we got some evidence that he has illegal relationship with a married women(one of his student). We spoke with him but in vain he continued torturing him till date we don't know what to do how to come out of it. His parents are not willing to speak with us. Her mother told my sister to go to your parents home living them. Please help us
Your sister can file a complaint for domestic violence against her husband and in-laws. At the same she can take action her husband and the woman by filing a criminal.complait. and a dowry harassment case.

Try to have mediation on this issue. conduct meeting with marriage elders, well wishers, relatives and parents of both the sides.
