What is a lawyers fee for a maintenance case

Namaste! What is the total fee for maintainance case? My lawyer told 17500/- but is that half amount or total? Also told Court expenditures are 12500/- is this true?

Fees are not uniform or standardised in legal profession.
Also in a maintenance case, the lawyer might be asking for documentation charges.
As such court fees is only 10Rupees for any matrimonial case including maintenance case.
But documentation charges are etc and professional fees are charged some times based on appearance, some times on a fixed fee basis etc.

Generally it depends on the nature of your filing how many documents is to file and the copies to be made.
