Trying to register marriage after annulment decree of first marriage

11-Dec-2023 (In Family Law)
I have got annulment of marriage decree by ex parte on June 2022. Thus declaring my first marriage as null and void. Now I'm willing to do a fresh new marriage with another girl . Hence we have applied for the marriage as unmarried. Can there be any issue like the computerized system may still show me as married on the oath taking day ? ( I don't know if court had informed the office of registrar general of marriage about my annulment or not ) nnPs: I got solemnization date on January 2022. No document was asked of my annulment if first marriage .

To give opinion it is necessary to know all the relevant details of your former marriage registration and that Marriage annulment decree. It is also necessary to know for new marriage registration whether you have given online notice or not. To get legal opinion professionally upon online payment, you can whatsapp.

wrong declaration on your part may land you in trouble at times. it is not always certain that this anomaly will get caught on that date of registration. the computerized system is not always updated and so even if you go scot free now there can be complication in the near future. if you have declared earlier marriage annulled it would serve the purpose. no documentary proof has to be adduced. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.
