what are the demerits or issues one can face if the person doesnot change her surname after marriage

a wife doesnot need to change her surname after marriage and she will not face any issues whatsoever and there are mandates and laws to it no woman can be forced to change surname after marriage so the question of thinking and feeling helpless doesnt arise
