suffered a lot of domestic abuse by mother in law

I am a woman who has suffered a lot of domestic abuse. Constantly experiencing torture in various ways. My mother washed the curry I made with water so that I could not eat it. So I took it and put a status on WhatsApp to exclude other 125 contact from my phone so that only their relatives can see it. I thought that others would see it, but I thought that my mother-in-law should stop these atrocities. Did I do something wrong?
