Sister's in laws asking for extra dowry and causing harassment

Sir my sister's marriage done in the year 2015 after one year they asking extra dowry and mentally tortured my sister they beat my sister so I took my sister in to my home at that time she is 7 months pregnant she deliver baby girl and her husband family never take to his home so he lives in vizianagaram so sir where should I complained and what are the necessary action should I take please advise me sir

You can give complaint in your area police station. Police will investigate the matter and file 498A case. Do you have any proof that they are asking dowry? If required you can take help of Woman Police station.

Hi First file the following cases a) Case under 498a and Dowry b) case of Domestic violence c) Ask the court to grant your sister and the baby in womb to grant maintenance . Once you file these cases, police and courts will counsel the groom and his family. If the boy and the family do not listen to police, definitely the boy and his family will be arrested and sent to jail.

There is a lot procedure against the harassment for that you need to make police complainant where they booked under secion 498-A of IPC and 3&4 of DV Act and you book another case like DVC case against them and my suggest to you that you can meet personally with an advocate where you can get proper guidelines.
