senior citizen needs to install lift but grd flr people are objecting

Elderly diseased old couple wishes to install lift on Ground floor, to get access with convinience on their home, which is on 1st and 2nd floor, on a common area but the familybon Ground floor, do not wish the same.
For same head of family on ground floor sued a case against head of the family, referred above, so that lift cannot be planned. GF person is also mentally prepared to take the case for many years, knowing the facts of our judiciary system.
Now, since lift is required, we wish to knock your door. Please help and guide is for same.

As I got your point.
Firstly who is the genuine owner or care taker of the building.
if any common area in any apartment and anyone want to construct something on it then he/she need to take written permission of all them member of permisses.
if anyone is not giving permission the he must show reasonable cause for it.
First try @ local authority like municipality and then if they will not corporate then you can take help of court.
